Senior move
After decades in a familiar home, a move is more than logistics. We take our time, explain every step and take care of everything – including, if you wish, what stays behind.
Moving later in life raises questions that other moves do not: What fits in the smaller flat? Who takes care of the rest? And how do you manage it all without overwhelming yourself? We have accompanied many of these moves – including into assisted living and care facilities.
Our approach: one fixed contact from start to finish, a calm pace on moving day and a team that listens. We involve relatives as you wish – on site, by phone or not at all.
What is included
Thorough survey
We walk through the home together, discuss what comes along and plan the new layout.
Complete packing service
We pack, transport and unpack – dishes into the cupboard, pictures on the wall.
Furniture assembly & furnishing
Bed, wardrobe, armchair, TV – by the evening the new home is liveable.
Household clearance
What stays behind we resolve: sell, donate (e.g. fairKauf, AWO furniture exchange) or dispose of properly.
Broom-clean handover
Final cleaning of the old home so the key handover goes without discussion.
Care-insurance note
With a care level, the Pflegekasse may subsidise a move as a home-environment improvement (§ 40 para. 4 SGB XI, up to €4,180). We help with the cost estimate.

from €590 incl. 19 % VAT
for a small senior move within Hannover. With packing, assembly and household clearance typically €1,200–2,800.

With a recognised care level, a move into a low-barrier home can be subsidised as a home-environment improvement with up to €4,180 (§ 40 para. 4 SGB XI). The application must be made before the move – we provide the matching cost estimate.

Well-kept pieces we pass to social department stores or furniture exchanges in Hannover, the rest we dispose of with a certificate. You decide beforehand what goes where.
